Awardee | Ellora Derenoncourt PhD 2019 has been awarded the Economic History Association's Allan Nevins Prize for best dissertation in American economic history. With research interests in labor economics, economic history, and inequality, Derenoncourt earned her PhD in Economics from Harvard in May 2019. She is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Industrial Relations Section at Princeton University. In July 2020, she joins the University of California, Berkeley, as an assistant professor in the Department of Economics and Goldman School of Public Policy.
