Daniel Alain Evrard is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at Harvard University. Spanning multiple levels of analysis and methodologies, his research broadly explores the underdevelopment of cities within advanced capitalist countries. More concretely, he is examining how processes of macro-economic change and social categorization have interacted to produce divergent developmental trajectories amongst deindustrialized cities within the United States.
