David Deming, Associate Professor of Education and Economics at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, has won the 2015 Early Career Award from the Association for Education Finance and Policy. 

The award recognizes "junior scholars (between 1 and 6 years post doctorate) with exemplary early career trajectories whose research substantially contributes to the field of education finance and policy."

Deming is both a former doctoral fellow and current faculty participant in the Inequality & Social Policy program. Deming  earned his Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard in 2010.

Deming was presented with the award at  AEFP's 40th annual meeting in Washington, DC.
