Deirdre Bloome: ASA Inequality, Poverty, and Mobility 2020 William Julius Wilson Early Career Award

deirdre bloomeAwardee | Deirdre Bloome PhD 2014 is a 2020 recipient (co-winner) of the William Julius Wilson Early Career award from the American Sociological Association's Section on Inequality, Poverty, and Mobility. The award recognizes a scholar who has made major contributions within 10 years of receiving the degree. Bloome, who received her PhD in Sociology and Social Policy from Harvard in 2014, is now an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Michigan. She joins the Harvard Kennedy School faculty in July 2021.
