Association of Black Sociologists names first Early Career Award recipient

Awardee | Celeste Watkins-Hayes (Ph.D. '03)  

Celeste Watkins-Hayes is the inaugural recipient of the Jacquelyn Johnson Jackson Early Career Award from the Association of Black Sociologists (2013). 

Watkins-Hayes earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard in 2013 and is now Associate Professor of Sociology and African American Studies at Northwestern University.
