Claudia Goldin Wins Talcott Parsons Prize

Stone Program faculty affiliate Claudia Goldin, the Samuel W. Morris University Professor, Lee and Ezpeleta Professor of Arts and Sciences, and Henry Lee Professor of Economics at Harvard University, is receiving the 2026 Talcott Parsons Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. First awarded in 1974, the prize is awarded for contributions to the social sciences, broadly defined. Goldin is the third affiliate of the Stone Program to receive the Talcott Parsons Prize, following political scientist Robert Putnam (2023) and sociologist William Julius Wilson (2003).
