Professor Leah Platt Boustan (Princeton University) will discuss her forthcoming book, Streets of Gold: America's Untold Story of Immigrant Success.

"The facts, not the fiction, of America’s immigration experience: A new narrative of a two-century story of success. A decade of pioneering research that debunks the myths fostered by political opportunism and sentimentalized in family histories."

Leah Boustan is professor of economics and director of the Industrial Relations Section at Princeton University, and co-director of the Development of the American Economy Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research. She is also a co-editor of the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics.
