#  Orlando Patterson Receives 2024 Hegel Prize

 Congratulations to Stone Program faculty affiliate Orlando Patterson, the John Cowles Professor of Sociology at Harvard University, who has received the 2024 Hegel Prize. The Hegel Prize is awarded every three years by the City of Stuttgart and the Hegel-Haus Museum in recognition of a scholar who has made a contribution to the development of the humanities. The prize was first awarded in 1970 on the occasion of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel's 200th birthday. Previous recipients include Richard Sennett, Charles Taylor, Jacques Le Goff, Ernst Gombrich, and Jürgen Habermas.
