Aurélie Ouss and co-author Arnaud Philippe (University of Paris) are recipients of the first Economics of Crime Prize, awarded by the transatlantic workshop on the Economics of Crime held at Bocconi University in Milan, October 3-4, 2014.

The prize recognizes their paper, "No Hatred or Malice, Fear or Affection: How do jurors think?", as one the two best papers presented by young researchers at the workshop.

Aurélie Ouss earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard in 2013 and is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the University of Chicago Crime Lab.
