About the speakers

Lucas Chancel is Co-Director of the World Inequality Lab at the Paris School of Economics (PSE), and Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI). He teaches at Sciences Po Paris. 

Insoutenables inegalites, by Lucas ChancelHe is the author of Insoutenables inégalités. Pour une justice sociale et environnementale, which explores the interactions between social and environmental inequalities. Currently available in French from Les Petits Matins, it will published in English by Harvard University Press in 2019.

Dani Rodrik is the Ford Foundation Professor of International Political Economy at Harvard Kennedy School. He iis an economist whose research covers globalization, economic growth and development, and political economy.

He is  currently President-Elect of the International Economic Association. His newest book is Straight Talk on Trade: Ideas for a Sane World Economy (2017).
