Outstanding Paper Award in Inequality, Poverty, and Mobility

Awardee | Deirdre Bloome (Ph.D. '14)  

Deirdre Bloome won the Outstanding Graduate Student Paper Award from the American Sociological Association's Section on Inequality, Poverty, and Mobility for her paper on "Racial Inequality Trends and the Intergenerational Persistence of Income and Family Structure."

Bloome received her Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Policy in May 2014 and is now Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
